Hi Cynthia !
ReplyDeleteLove the music...it's got the feeling of oh so many nice things...*S* Beautiful blog too..*S*
I recently purchased your 'the Gift of Love", but haven't had a chance to read it yet, but can't wait.
I love stories that I can get an emotional connection to. the characters have to have depth and meaning to them, as well as a great premise of truth and realism of whatever setting or time period. I hate books that go into so much detail of setting that you lose the point of the journey in the telling of the story. I don't know if I'm explaining it well enough though. I love compassionate, and empathetic characters who have flaws just like the rest of the human species so to speak...even paranormal characters have of have some depth....*S*
Thank you for the give away and listening to the readers. That's why I so enjoy the stories and the authors who create them...you all just rock!

Thanks Darcy, you explained very well. Appreciate your purchase of A Gift of Love too!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading erotica, paranormal and sci-fi/fantasy. I also enjoy different parings and will be looking forward to reading more of the same. Though I have a read a few well written first person stories, I prefer to read authors that avoid writing that way. I find it a little confusing and don't feel I get the full story. I agree with Darcy that detail is good, but don't go into so much that you lose the point of the story.
